DESCRIPTION:The Business Doctoral Student Association (BDSA) aims to creat
 e a close-knit academic community of doctoral students and to nourish opp
 ortunities for cross-departmental research within the College of Business
  of Florida International University. The proposal of this new event resp
 onds to two main considerations: (i) Research undertaken by doctoral stud
 ents is in most cases the result of collaborative efforts and supervision
  of faculty at their respective departments and (ii) The ultimate purpose
  of doctoral students working in research is to communicate the findings 
 to the academic community at large. Through the organization of this even
 t\, the BDSA pursues the tightening of the relationships of doctoral stud
 ents with faculty at Florida International University and also with the a
 cademic community\, including other universities.During the event\, docto
 ral students from the College of Business will meet\, socialize\, and sha
